How the Four Tools Work Together
The four tools answer different questions about the same drink list. The calorie calculator is the starting point: search any of the 28 drinks, pick a size from Short to Venti, customize milk, syrup pumps, whipped cream, and extra shots, and watch calories, caffeine, protein, carbs, sugar, and fat update live.
The nutrition calculator takes one drink and shows its full nutrition panel with percent daily values. The caffeine calculator ranks the menu by caffeine in milligrams, with size-by-size tables for comparing brews. compare drinks puts any two customized drinks side by side in one table and tells you which is lighter and by how much. All four are free, need no account, and run entirely in your browser.
About the Drink Database
The tools estimate values for 28 Starbucks drinks across five categories: Hot Coffees, Cold Coffees, Frappuccino, Refreshers, and Teas & More. Each drink has a standard build, a default size, milk, and syrup amount, and the estimates start from publicly available nutrition information for those builds.
Customizing the drink changes the estimate: a different size, a plant milk instead of dairy, fewer syrup pumps, or skipping whipped cream all move the numbers. Seasonal drinks can change from year to year, so check the numbers fresh each season. The database covers drinks only; food and bakery items are not included.
Updates to the Tools and Data
We may add drinks, categories, or features to the tools, and we may refresh the underlying estimates as public nutrition information changes. When that happens, the numbers you see are the current ones, we do not keep old versions of the data.
If a drink is renamed or retired from the menu, its entry may be updated or removed. Continued use of the site after such updates means you accept the current tools and data as they are.
A Note on Automated Use
The tools are built for people comparing drinks before they order. Do not use scripts, bots, or scrapers to bulk-download the drink database or to hammer the calculators with automated requests. Fair, human-paced use keeps the site fast for everyone.
